Art, Motherhood, and Standing With Gaza

Art has always been my way of speaking when words aren’t enough. Every brushstroke feels like a piece of my heart reaching out to the world. Lately, though, I’ve felt that my art needs to carry more than beauty — it needs to carry compassion.

The images and stories coming out of Gaza have been impossible for me to look away from. As a mother, I can’t help but see my own daughter when I see children there — children who should be laughing, creating, and living in safety, not facing fear and loss. That feeling stays with me, and I knew I couldn’t just keep painting without doing something.

That’s why I’ve decided to give 10% of the proceeds from my art to humanitarian relief through the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF). PCRF has been providing urgent medical care, food, and support to children and families in Gaza for over 30 years. Their work is direct, transparent, and life-saving, and I trust them to put our contributions exactly where they’re needed most.

Our First Goal: $1,000 for Gaza Relief
Through this art-driven fundraiser, I want to start with a clear milestone: raising $1,000 this fall to help provide urgent medical aid and relief for children in Gaza. Every painting, every print, every purchase brings us closer to that number and closer to sending hope across the world.

This isn’t just about me. My art saved me during some of the hardest moments in my life, and now I hope it can reach beyond me — to save, comfort, and heal in ways I never imagined. By supporting this project, you’re not just collecting art, you’re helping families survive.

I’ll share updates and donation receipts here, so you can see the impact we’re making together. This is about trust, compassion, and turning creativity into care.

Thank you for walking with me in this, for believing in art that gives back, and for standing with Gaza in love and humanity.
